Talbot's Point Conservation Area
This conservation area is 112 acres on land extending north from railroad tracks into Scorton Marsh. Talbot’s Point extends 1/3 mile into Scorton Marsh. Several trails meander through pleasant stands of oak, white and red pine planted in the 1930s, as well as tupelo, large pitch pines, beech and spruce. Just a short distance in from the parking area a fresh water spring bubbles into the marsh. Watch for osprey building their nests or a marsh hawk gliding over the marsh.
